Tiny Architects Summer Camp Overview
Join us in creating, building and designing your own tiny house! Students will design a house based on their own ideas and will apply geometric skills such as shapes and nets to develop their own furniture and layout.
During this 5-day camp, students will focus on the real world application of math concepts used in building and designing their tiny homes, while practicing problem solving skills, collaboration and using their imagination.
From calculating and designing elements to solving Math equations, students will find the balance between creativity and learning as a Tiny Architect!
Camp Dates & Location
Camp 1: July 18-22 (1:30pm-4:30pm)
Camp 2: July 25-29 (9:30am-12:30pm)
Location: Richmond Public Library at Brighouse (7700 Minoru Gate, Richmond)

Prerequisites
Tiny Architects puts a focus on geometry, addition and multiplication for Grades 1-3 students. Students are expected to have basic number senses with counting and place values. In order to create a positive learning environment for everyone, students will also be expected to listen to instructors and follow instructions given.
We welcome students of all learning attitudes, but love to give gold stars to those who show an extra willingness to learn!
